Thank you for joining us on Saturday September 28th for our fall Bugsy Beach Chase. The Chase is an exciting 3,500 meter course. The Chase will be held at Newbegun Creek, a hidden gem here in Elizabeth City. Entry Fees are as follows: for 8's $65, 4/4x's $45, 2x's $35, 1x's $25. Total fees will be calculated on the entries submitted in the registration form and billed to teams. See detailed information on our venue in our Bugsy Beach Spectator Guide.

Final Schedule Updates: All updates to the final schedule will be made once registration closes. Any adjustments to event line-ups will be completed at the Coaches Meeting on the 28th. Race Packets will be provided with a schedule for each team to ensure we're all working from the same document. The course map is below and results will be posted at the merch tent on regatta day with final schedule. We will do our best to accommodate hot dock swaps. Please remind rowers to come immediately to the beach for wet launch if their equipment or athletes are in another event.

Weather: We plan to continue as scheduled unless wind and thunder/lightning cause a delay. We are expecting warm weather and recommend bug spray to repel mosquitos and ticks.

Parking: Parking will open at 6:00AM on regatta day. Parking is $10/vehicle. Please prepay parking at this link prior to midnight Friday. We will accept Venmo and cash at the venue but prefer prepaid parking due to intermittent mobile service. Parking fees collected by Elizabeth City RC help fund growth of rowing in Northeastern NC.

When you prepay parking, you will receive a confirmation (example to the right) which you will need to show the parking volunteer. Please screen shot your receipt prior to arrival to show parking volunteers. Buses: Park, unload and re-load all crew members in the reserved area for buses. No parking fee for buses transporting team members. Handicap Parking: Handicap parking will be available in designated areas. There are no paved walkways or other areas. Note: ECRC Athlete drop off will be at the small red barn near the parking corral.

Travel South on US-17

Continue onto Bypass US-17 S toward Heartford, Edenton

Take exit 258 onto Halstead Blvd Ext [NC-344]

Turn left onto Halstead Blvd toward Elizabeth City

Drive 8.6mi [past the Coast Guard base] and turn left onto Consolidated Rd.

In 1.1mi you will turn right onto Bayside Rd

Then, quick left onto Davis Bay Rd.

Continue straight into Newbegun Land neighborhood.

Go about 2mi, then Right on Airship Dr.
