Liability Waiver & Declaration of Swimming Ability
By submitting my information below…
1) I certify that I can swim
2) I am aware of the risks associated with boating and rowing
3) I have, or will, review the US Rowing Association Safety Video
4) Will hereby release, discharge and covenant not to sue River City Community Sailing, Elizabeth City Parks and Recreation, City of Elizabeth City, and or any associated volunteers from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages on my account caused by or otherwise, including negligent rescue operations, and I further agree that if, despite this release and waiver of liability, assumption o risk, and indemnity agreements, I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim against any of the releases, I will indemnify, save, and hold harmless each of the releases from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, liability, damage, or cost which may occur as a result of such claim.
5) I hereby grant the rowing club to use my likeness in photography/video in any and all of its publications, whether now known or hereafter existing.
